Hello, I truly appreciate that you have taken the time to visit my website www.Find-Homestead.com. My name is Caleb Brown, and I am a "home-grown" Lincoln County, Missourian. If you're contemplating about moving to Lincoln, Pike, or any of the other surrounding counties, it is a great place to live! This part of the country that God has created, is very beautiful, and the small communities that spot this area are very friendly and welcome you with great enthusiasm.

I was raised on a small farm in rural Lincoln County where we raised sheep. Keeping an average of 30 registered brood ewes (female sheep) each year. We raised lambs for show stock and also sold them for custom butchering.

When I was young I was also very active in our Lincoln County's 4-H Program where young people not only learn how to become responsible livestock owners or how to sew but they also learn how to be bold leaders within their community. The 4-H program was very beneficial in my life and I would highly recommend it to the young people living and moving into Lincoln & Pike Co.

As I reached adolescence I began to realize that my life was not my own but that I was bought with a price. (For when I was six years old, I gave my entire life to Jesus Christ - who paid for my sin with his death (For the payment for sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Master - Romans 3:23). I asked him to forgive me of my sin, and to come into my life and begin to control it. Thus receiving genuine peace, joy, and love.) Therefore, I began to ask the Lord what he wanted me to do with my life. Through reading the Scripture & prayer, I realized that I was supposed to obey and serve him by serving those around me, giving the praise and glory to Him for the change he had made in my life. As a result, for approximately four years I joined with a minister in St. Charles County ministering to children, youth, and adults in a local community in western St Charles County. I greatly enjoyed this time in my life, seeing the Lord work in not only the lives of those to whom I was ministering, but even more within my own life.

As I continued to minister, I realized my inadequacy to efficiently wisely counsel those whom I was serving. Therefore I began schooling at the Telos Institute International located in Indianapolis, IN where I soon completed the course with not only the resources to give Biblically wise counsel to others, but more importantly to apply it to my own personal life. I continued in this vein of education by also attending the Character Training Institute in Oklahoma City, OK where we were instructed in how to teach character development within both businesses and the public school system. This is a tremendous program that is drawing interest from across this and other nations, for character development is essential in developing young men and women who will grow up to have the qualities of honesty, integrity, attentiveness, truthfulness, obedience, and etc.

In 1999 I decided to pursue a life work, therefore attending the Missouri Auction School. There I was taught by some of the best auctioneers in the country, learning all aspects of the business, everything from how to begin and organize a small business, to learning the auctioneer's distinctive chant, and to knowing how to organize and conduct an auction. From February of 1999 through December of 2002 I worked with Thornhill Real Estate & Auction Service as a "ring man" and auctioneer.

In January of 2000 I received my Missouri Real Estate Broker License and have continued to work with Thornhill Real Estate & Auction Service, out of their Winfield Office located on the eastern side of Lincoln County along scenic Hwy 79. As I look back on these first years in real estate, I have been truly blessed. To Him goes all praise!

News Brief in 2002...July 6, 2002 was the greatest day of my life (second only to the day Jesus came into my life)! I was married to the most beautiful, God-fearing, virtuous woman on earth. The love of my life - Amy Braband. We now live happily in the small town of Eolia, Missouri.

News Brief in 2003...June 29, 2003...Enoch Brown was born! He is sure a handsome guy and daddy's soon-to-be little helper :)

News Brief in 2005...October 9, 2005...Faith Brown was born! What a beautiful little girl :) My wife and I are truly blessed, Jesus has sure been good to us!
